My bed is a poster bed, mattress and box spring fine but bed has begin to squeak everytime you get in or out or turn over. Don' want to get rid of the bed, other than the squeaking, its fine.?

take off the matress, un bolt the main fixings and grease all the matal contact points, also check the middle leg (if it has one) is straight as they can rub on the shoulders creating noise, also if it has finials at the tops check these are not loose.
