Should I repair my 5 year old In Sink Erator unit "444" ?

my sink erator "444" is about 5 years old and it now needs to have the upper shell "housing" replaced due to perforation which is spewing out water. Otherwise the motor still runs very well.

My question, is it repairable and is it worth repairing

You should check with a supplier first. I was looking for a part for mine, (not a 444 model) but the list stated that the housing cannot be replaced and you have to purchase another unit. But like I said, check with a local supplier to confirm if its worth repairing or if it can even be repaired for that matter.

Anything is repairable. Is it worth repairing? You need to find a supplier of parts for this make in your area & phone up to ask how much the part will cost. Compare that to how much a new one costs & decide for yourself.
