How can I fix my Washing machine?

My washer is a fisher paykel iwl16 and does not stop washing unless i stop it and put it on a different cycle and then it runs until fault 37 pops up. I have checked all hoses and pump there is nothing in them. the pump runs and recycles the water during spin cycle but does not drain out of washer. Please help me?

My IWL16 makes a high pitch sound while it is filling, I am thinking it is a valve. what could I do to fix this

The 2nd part of your question regarding fault code 37. This means that the water level has not dropped during the drain cycle. This is because you say it is recirculating the water & not pumping it out of the drain hose. Underneath next to the drain pump is the recirculating valve. Take it off and see if something is inside it obstructing the valve & stopping it from moving over to the drain position. If no obstruction then replace the valve with a new one. Not sure why the machine keeps washing until you move it on to the next cycle.
