I have aVauxhall CDR2005 VDO CD Playero which has a broken stem on the volume control. The unit will play but the volume control is rendered inoperative. Apparently this is a common fault.

A repair service is offered on E-bay at £50.0. Can anybody tell me where to get the parts to repair it myself or offer a cheaper repair ??
