i have tried several pin numbers to unlock my car stereo but now it has locked up and i cant do anything to try and enter in again

disconnect your battery for a while it should reset your code chances, contact radio manufaturer and have serial number available, they should be able to supply you with the correct code. be warned code chances may deminish each time and battery may need to be disconnected for longer untill it locks permanently .
