Adjust pressure in my toilet?

When I flush my toilet downstairs it makes such a loud noise that I have to turn the cold water tap on to stop the vibrations. Any suggestions to stop it.

The noise is sometimes caused by the washer becoming less pliable over time and dragging in the syphon. Try putting a decent squirt of washing up liquid in the cistern when it's almost finished filling and it will lubricate the seal when you flush. You'll get some froth in the pan for a few fills but nothing else. Hope that helps and saves you some work/money.

Yep - fit a new fill valve such as a Torbeck...these aren't prone to washer vibration, which is what is happening in your case.
