How can I fix my receiver Teac AG-V8525 Home Theater?

My Teac AG-V8525 Home Theater receiver is currently not producing any sound at all. The system was working perfectly and went out suddenly. The unit still lights up when turned on, although it has not worked in at least eight years. I have tested the speakers, which are KLH 12" 3 way 290 watts and they are working fine. The receivers output power is 130 watts RMS per channel minimum, both channels driven into 8 ohms from 20 kHz with no more than 0.09% total harmonic distortion. Is there a chance the speakers are not compatible with the receiver, or could it be something else?
