Remove the plug remove the top remove the belt and remove the motor use a flat bladed screwdriver to lift the plastic clip retaining the brushes slide back and remove the wire slide completely out and replace with new brush and holders lift the little brass tag holding the carbons in the holders and the brush should shoot forward onto the armature replace motor and belt tension belt and test remember electric kills so keep your hands away you can get the parts from www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk hope this helps
