drum does not turn?

Washing machine Bosch model MAXX WFL2450
Problem: the drum does not turn.
Belt ok - new brushes fitted - all programs start and finish ok - water is discharged correctly
Drum goes around manually freely
please help before I spend more money and/or I buy a new one
