I HAVE A FRANKLIN LANGUAGE MASTER (SPEAKING DICTIONARY) MODEL LM4000. I THINK THAT IT HAS A SHORT WIRE SOME WHERE, THE REASON IS THAT THE CONTRAST WILL BE BOLD AND EASY TO READ THE WORD THEN IT WILL FADE AND BE VERY LITE AND UNABLE TO READ THE WORD. I have a franklin language master 6000se.
I don't know if the unit was dropped or what but nothing comes on the screen when turned on.there are some black spots on the screen. the screen is not cracked anywhere just these black spots.

My Franklin language master9 Dictionary) turns on and off but I can not. It won't type letters I pushed a button but it would not do anything when I first turned on talks. But as soon as I try to put a letter in it will not do anything can you help me out or can you tell me where to take it and get it fix
