i have bought a s/hand 6000 rds with cd, the radio works great but the cd does not, when you put in a cd the radio does not switch auto. to the cd player and it makes a ckicking sound like its looking for the tracks and then it spits the cd out and goes back to the radio. also do i have to connect up all three blocks on the back of the set. if not which ones, please help its doing my head in. thanks macca

thanks nigel i'll give that a try. i did connect all 3 blocks up would that have caused the problem as there are no steering wheel controls fitted. thanks again. macca

The CD mechanism in these radios are very prone to failure, there was a guy on ebay who would replace them with a better system, as to the plugs, as you look at the back of the radio the large plug on the left is the power connector and the large plug to the right is the speaker connector, the small connector between the large ones is for steering wheel controls if fitted
