diplomat HJA8630?

after each wash we have water lying in the sump which starts to smell in the drains. Is there something I can do to make the water drain away

Try cleaning the filter groups - see my previous post on how to do this if you haven't got a manual. It describes the method for the Lamona HJA 8630 (Beko?) machine but this may also be the same as the Diplomat HJA 8630.
