ScanDisk stops at same place every time it is run?

Whenever I try to run ScanDisk it hangs up my computer. It stops at the same place every time. Corrupted File? If so, how can I remove?

Remember if you have virus's or spyware on your PC, they can potentially interrupt the scan process, so check for them before you run it.

Also, If you think the drive itself is at fault, you can also run free diagnostics software from the drive manufacturer to confirm this.

Scandisk is meant to fix corrupt files. You may need to do a format and clean install. If that doesn't work you probably need a new hard drive.
