whats wrong with my ideal classic ff340 boiler?

the pilot light is out and wont light, the boiler makes a noise as though its running but wont light, any ideas!

i'll agree with that, these fans are notorious for jamming. it can usually be lubricated and cleaned, but should be done by a qualified engineer.
