I can put a NEW DVD+R into my ILO DVD player/ recorder and it will go thru all the steps to record. However, when recording is finished and stop is pressed it locks and won't let you go to play or other functions. It is even difficult to turn off. When turned back on it will not play what was recorded, invalid disc message is shown. It will play rented movies.
