My Hotpoint WM52 is not spinning or turning you can hear the pump (motor) trying to work but no movement is seen, I changed the bushes on the motor 2 month ago
when trying to use my washer after selecting which cycle to use and pressing the on butten everything is fine but as soon as the washer starts it trips the electric out what is the problem ???

Many thanks I removed the motor and had my local dealer check it on a meter, one of the bushes had failed. The motor was OK, new bushes fitted, Clean clothes at last.

You will need a meter to check the motor to rule it out ie brushes, field and toc
