why do i only get one input signal on my sky +?

why do i only get one input signal on my sky + when both coax cables are connected. when i change them over i still get the same input 1 ok input 2 nothing?

My appols. This will be caused by one of two things: one of the cables has a problem. One of the LNB ports is faulty.

Assuming that you have four port LNB, you need to go through some swapping in logical fashion to find out which one (cable or LNB Port) has the problem.

Having done that there is just chance that it is the box but the other two are more likely.

Havent put a question in to DTT section, but if you are talking about changing the cable position on the LNB then i have already tried this but still have the same problem.
