I HAVE DISCONNECTED MY KITCHEN SINK TO INSTALL A NEW ONE I SHUT THREE RED VALVES IN MY AIRING CUPBOARD TO CUT OFF SUPPLY TO HOT BUT ON REOPENING THE VALVES I AM NOT GETTING ANY HOT WATER TO ANY TAPS I HAVE TRIED CONNECTING A HOSE FROM COLD TO HOT TAP BUT AS SOON AS YOU REMOVE THE HOSE THE WATER STOPS I HAVE TRIED ALL THE BLEED SCREWS WITHOUT ANY LUCK

fred problem was the gate valve in airing cupboard had seized in the closed position hence no water when i tried to turn it all on all done and dusted now thanks

Conect a hose to a mains cold water feed, push hose up or over the hot tap, make sure hot tap is turned on, get a mate to turn on the hose the mains water presure will push the air out of the pipes, do this on each hot tap it will clear the blockage, Good luck.
