How can I get a wire out of my Hoover HNL 6166?

I have a wire (possibly) stuck in the drum which is ripping the clothes when it spins. How can I get this out?
Thanks

Hmmm thats a bummer. In which case the only thing you can really do is to completely split the machine, and expose the space between the inner and outer drum - where the wire will surely lie. Often you can hear the wire scraping if you turn the drum by hand.

Thanks for your reply. I've felt around the drum but can't feel anything. It seems like the clothes get pushed throught the holes a bit when it's spinning and the wire catches them while it's spinning around

Carefully feel around the inside of the inner drum and see if you can feel the wire...if you can find an end, you can probably tease it out with some pliers.
