PSC 2410 printer has slowed to a crawl?

My Psc2410 does everything well except it has slowed to a crawl when it comes to printing. It all started when it said to remove and reinstall cartridge in right bay. Replaced both cartridges finally and stil takes ten minutes to get the message to print and to prnt. Reinstalled printer still no change.

My slow printing issue has been resolved. I received a number of suggested fixes from HP online support and the "power cycle" procedure did the trick for me. Shut down the computer. Disconnect the printer cable from the computer. With the printer powered on disconnect the power cord; wait 30 seconds; reconnect the power cord to the printer and wait for the printer to comlete it's cycle. Repeat this process 3 times. After the third power cycle reconnect the printer cable to the computer and restart the computer. You can also perform a semi-full reset. Disconnect the power cord from the printer. Press and hold # and 6 while reconnecting the power cord.

I started having the same problem with my HP Photosmart psc 2410 and I believe the problem started sometime after I replaced one of the ink cartridges. I tried all the typical troubleshooting (disconnecting cables etc.) and restoring the default settings but nothing has helped. I am starting to wonder if it has something to do with the internal printer memory. I sent an email to HP support and I am waiting for a response.
