Hi Ronald, well the fact that the unit blows its new fuse as soon as you repalce it is telling you something is wrong. Thats what fuses are for. The most likely, but certainly not the only reason for this situation is that the door interlock saefty switches have, due to a fault in one of them, gone to earth, and as likely as not one of the will have its contacts welded by excess current. The fuse will usually blow when you hit the start button, sometimes when you close the oven door. Depended upon the model it also may be the magnetron has gone and as you fire the machine up current flows and out goes the fuse. One further possibilty is that the turntable motor has fault to earth and as the unit goes into run mode it cases the fuse to blow. this is the least likely scenario. Whatever happens please remember you are messing around in a piece of equipment that runs at 4000volts and due to the design of its circuitry under certain fault conditions it remains lethal months after having been disconnected from the mains supply. its not rocket science as they say, but it is not fro the layman either.
