some belts only last for 36000 miles although some ford belts can last upto 50000 miles. Its best to check it to see what its condition is like. How long have you owned it for? Or if you not had it long check through any paperwork you may have got with it if any.....
To be on the save side change it, as it will cost loads if it snaps.
