mick have you dissconnected the waste hose and let it empty while seeing if it is pumping out fast enough i have come across a button in waste hoses before now that can operate like a valve and will intermittently stop the water also if some of the pump impellor blades have been damaged this will stop the pump working as effectivly as it should so it doesnt pump out within the required time
