How do I dismantle a Rowenta IS8050 steamer? ?

I am having problems with a Rowenta IS8050 steamer. I have a scaling problem and need to access the steam generator. I am having troubles opening the steamer up. I have found and removed the six Phillips screws from the base but something else seems to be holding the top and bottom together. Can anybody help me? I did call Rowenta and they wouldn't tell me anything (some customer service!)

You need to remove the front of the steamer. It has the drawbridge-like flap that folds down. The black part is held to the steamer with inner fasteners. Use a flat-head screw driver on the vertical side walls and gently pry the fasteners loose such that the front actually starts to fall inside the steamer a bit. Then remove the front and you will see what was holding everything together. I won't spoil it for you.
