Hot water no heating ?

I have a ravenheat combi boilers and I wonder if you could give me some help , I have recently removed one of my radiators including pipes, I capped off the end of the pipes as instructed, but when i turned the boiler back on I have hot water but no heating, I have since on advice uncapped the pipes and joined them with elbow bends to complete the circuit but I still have no heating.

I have turned everything back on in reverse to turning it off.

Don’t know if it makes any difference but the radiator I removed didn’t have a thermostat.

Any help would be much appreciated.

check the water pressure and bleed the pump.
