my samsung tv wont switch on for ages just keeps clicking, i have seen all the comments about repairing it but where do i get the info from the repair it

I had the same prob with my old 32" Goodmans. Got it fixed about 8yrs ago for £70. Same thing happened last week to the same TV (won't switch on, makes a clicking noise but wont go) got it fixed for £50 by the same crowd. Wish I knew what it was as it could happen again and is common in the old CRT tvs. Probably an internal fuse or capacitor.....
Sorry not much use but try to get someone with a good reputation when it comes to fixing TVs or you could get ripped off i.e. £30 to look and they then tell you its knackered (without even looking) and try to sell you an ex display model. Where did you get the repair comments?
