Go to Network Connections via Settings / Control Panel
Right Click on the wireless Icon and select View Available Wireless Networks (you may see several) - Connect to your own Wireless Router.
Some machines have a keyboard sequence to do this - on my Laptop it's Fn (Function Key) held down and F2 - your machine may be different - you don't mention make or model.
