how can i fix my peugeot 307 sw fan switch?

my heater fan in my peugeot 307 sw 04 plate 1.6 petrol car has stopped working is it easy to fix? how much would a new switch cost?

Under the driverside of the dashboard remove the fabric cover (2 or 3 plastic clips) and look upwards so you can see the plastic air ducting.

On the dashboard put the heater/cooling into the recirc position.

You will see a flap open up in the ducting.

Shine a torch into where the flap open - you'll see a unit inside the ducting which has resistors etc in it and if you feel on the top of the ducting you'll feel a bunch of wires plugged into it.

Reach inside the ducting, turn this unit (fan resistor control unit) until it comes lose.

Then pull it downwards through the flap in the ducting, unplug the plug fromthe top of it and then first try your scrap yards/breaker to get another, otherwise head off to your local Peugeot dealer for a new one.

Refitting is simply the reverse procedure. It is a very easy job to do.
