It probably means that the water cannot leave the machine, therefore stops. There is likely to be a blockage in the hose or the bit where the motor is. Open the round knob located at the front bottom of the machine. Beware, a lot of water will come out. Clean any debri, and turn machine on. See if the motor spins. If spins, fine. Next thing will be to pull out the machine, take the back off and remove the hose that releases the dirty water. Poke a bamboo stick through or something. That should clear it. Also check if anything stuck near motor. Shoudl all clear it. But, you may not need to do the hose if you already clear the blockage from the front. Liek i said, beware, a lot of water comes of from the hole when you open it.
