How to extract from wood a broken screw ?

I have a broken screw tightly set in a door frame. It only comes out 2 o3 mm so I can't grave it to unscrew it as the head broke off.
This is part of a hinge and all the other screws came out ok, so I would prefer to get this last one out rather than change the hinge of place !

Can anyone help ?

Thanks

File two flats (in the plane of the screw slot) across the protruding end and grip with a pair of pliers - if this fails; which it might because you don't have much to play with, then gently dig the screw out and fill the hole with wood scraps when you come to attach the door.

Failing that just ignore the broken screw - the door will very probably be fine with just one screw missing.

Good luck
