I have an old Bendix Compact model 7159 washing machine.
It works perfectly well but the door boot is perished (hard and cracked) and leaks a bit.
I have located a replacement door boot but I can't find any fitting instructions
There seems to be a metal securing ring holding it in place and bolts around the opening --
I'd rather like to know that I can fit it before I order it.
I've searched the web but with no result.
Can you help with fitting instructions as I doubt that there would be any with it.

Can you still get new bending compact 7159 or anything very similar

They can be difficult to fit.lots of people buy them to fit and come back asking us to fit them after a day trying!
