I have just replaced the electrices on my Kenwood chef A901 however the drive belt now keeps running off the pullys and is burning through the top cover any ideas what might be causing this to happen...iv replaced electrics before but this has never happened

I have just discovered this for myself with a second hand A901. The problem is that for some unkown reason the motor is turning in the wrong direction. The control works fine but the rotation is wrong. My local electric motor expert can't sort out the problem so it looks as if I will have to find a replacement motor if you have any ideas how to sort it out let me know.

This happened to my A901 Chef. There should be a washer on top of the cog with the belt on, which prevents it from riding up. It's probably fallen off.
