It would appear that my element has failed but I can't find a way to get in to change the element without lying the dw down and unscrewing the whole bottom section of the dishwasher.
Is this the only way to get into it? There doesn't appear to be any access panels on the front or underneath.

I AM ABOUT TO DO EXACTY THE SAME,MY ELEMENT HAS GONE ON MY HOOVER DISHWASHER,THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO DO IT EXEPT TO LAY IT ON ITS SIDE AND REMOVE BOTTOM.THE ELECTRICS ARE UNDER THE COVER AND SO ARE THE NUTS THAT HOLD THE ELEMENT IN PLACE,
