My tricity bendix TM310W DRYER?

The dryer is 5years old and been very good untill recently it has a unusual burning smell when used, we have cleaned every part of the dryer but the burning smell still persists.

any ideas?

Please take care, this happened to my friends dryer and it set on fire. Don't leave it unattended just in case. Personally I wouldn't use it again.
