TM320W is the model number and it has worked well till now for about four years.

Hi, there could be a number of causes. You need a resistance tester to test with. Test the element first making sure you remove one of the wires first. Then test the safety cutout, then test the thermostat, finally test the timer. By following the wires from the element you will reach all these components. Remember to remove one of the wires before testing each item.

Hi Jen. We have also had the same problem with our Hot Point Condenser Dryer (5 years + old ) Cleaned It all out first. Element had burnt out. Having to replace that (£42) then to find it still would'nt heat up, was told to replace the Thermostats (sold in a pair £20).Worked O.K. for a day then stopped heating up again. Found out that the thermostat which has a green spot on it (may differ on other models ) is resetable if it's showing to be concaved.
If this is the case to drop it on the floor a few times till it's not concaved any more. Did just that, fitted it back in all A.O.K. again now.
Best of luck.
