hi guys i have the Royal Alpha 583cx cash register and the till is stuck not openingg. I made a sale yesterday and after closing the till i normally do next sale the till doesn't open. i tried everything. like underneath there is a button to open the till but didn't work i tired with knife also but not opening. i call royal they told me to take to service center but it will take a week to fix it. thats very long time i need urgent help otherwise i have to buy a new one :( if some one can tell me how to fix it like if i can open it or something :) waiting reply
Hi,guys!!!!. i have a Royal 583cx ECR,too, but it seems
the small printer doesn't work,since paper doesn't feed anymore.
Could someone please tell me where can i get a new printer assambly for this?

You can always open the drawer manually with the emergency release. See "Opening the Drawer When There is no Power" on page 88 of the manual. If the drawer will open manually but not automatically, the solenoid that opens the drawer (or associated wiring) has probably failed in some way.
