how do I repair split ends on my carbon fishing pole a friened stood on the end of it and split it the split runs for about 3 inches and there are two opposite each other any help would be appreciated

you will need a small file and some sand paper. from end of pole work your way back til you find where the crack starts. with the file gentley work your way around the pole til the broken bit falls off, then gently use sandpaper to remove any sharp edges. you will have to put a bigger bush in the end, or just take it to your local tackle shop they should be able to do this for a few £. tight lines.
