I've tried every battery but it simply will not come on and I get the hunch the power pack is shot. How do I fix it?

the problem with these cameras is a defective vent/link assembly.
the assembly gets pushed into the camera by the spring loaded pins and then the tip from the round link shaft snaps off because the assembly is no longer in alignment. cost of repair is beyond the worth of the camera.
