i think my singer sewing machine is out of time?

i was trying to sew thru doulbe thickness but my bobbin thread had been bunching up just before this and my machine started to beep so i shut it off and changed the neddle and restarted the bobbin and it still will not pick up the bottom thread

the easiest way to tell if your machine is out of time is if the needle will hit the hook on its way down ,let me know if this is the case and i will tell you how to fix it,i work for one of the largest fashion companies in the world and do this job every day so its quite easy for me,let me know the details.

Make sure the needle is in the ritght way round first of all and if that does not work I can attach timing instructions if you email me, this site does not allow email addresses to be shown so type in my address as you say it not as you read it.
