How do I change the vaccum belt on Kirby Heritage 2 upright?

How do I change the vacuum cleaner belt on my Kirby Heritage 2 vacuum cleaner?
Penny Schutza, February 2006
To change belt on Kirby. Raise vacuum on wheels to highest setting, flip up light cowling, turn square handle on front as far around as it will go to lift current belt off drive shaft (if not broken), rotate clip that was hidden under light cowling and remove vaccum head assembly. Turn head over and rotate both clips that are now visable, remove steel grid/frame, remove roller by pulling out (clips at ends) Slide new belt onto roller and position in middle. Reasemble in reverse order, except that you need to use the square handle to hook belt before fitting head back on machine, release belt onto drive shaft by turning sq handle backwards.
