Zanussi DW907 will not drain water away?

Hi the dishwasher does a full cycle and cleans ok but refuses to drain water away when finished. Ive checked the pipes and they seem ok.I was just wondering if it could be the pump, is there any way of checking or testing it thanks Sime

when you start a new program can you hear the pump run/hum/buzz?.take the pump off and check for bits jammed in the impeller
