how to fix sony handycam cassette loader?

I am unable to remove Hi8 cassette from sony handycam as holder will not open when eject button pressed recorder has been used frequently but not ejected for some time any ideas Iwould be greatfull

Mick I have had the same problem. Its a micro chip fault in the camera, you will need it fixed by an electronic repairer. I was told its a common fault with Sony cameras. I thought i was paying for quality note common problems.
