IDEAL ISAR HE30 BOILER C/H PROBLEM?

MY CENTRAL HEATING FIRES AND WARMS UP ON ITS OWN ACCORD WITHOUT A PROMPT FROM THE WALLSTAT
HOTHOUSE, September 2009
Same here. The C/H comes on on its own accord. Even when the C/h Control/ Timer switch is off. Resets itself when it wants. B/Gas engineer visited and changed the timer switch. Still the same! Any ideas? Thanks

mine is not so much an answer, but a further question relating to this topic. My boiler is doing the same, c.h. pipe under the pressure gauge is getting hot when dhw is requested. Could it be diverter? If so, and you say that water will be leaking into pipes - will that cause the pressure gauge to drop?

Wendy Holmes, October 2009
faulty diverter valve, boiler will fire for water pre-heat & leak water into rads.

sound like your diverter valve is letting-by
