should the pump impellor spin freely. mine moves but there is some resistance every revolution of the pump

just had exactly the same problem. managed to get pump off and on inspection found a girls hair bobble wrapped around impeller preventing it turning. hope you are as lucky as me.

remove the filter at the bottom right corner and once you have removed the filter shine a torch into the filter housing and check that the impeller spins freely and hasn't jammed with something
