# 1- unplug power.#-2- remove progector light.#3-remove all cables, from rear of tv.#4-1/4 " nut driver, remove all screws from plastic lower back panel.#5-remove the screws holding the " two " seperate section below.( some hold the tv upper part.)#6-remove the plastic slidding gate above the two lower sections ( look up in the middle ).It just slides out.-There may be wires to move , but you do not need to remove connectors unless for cleaning fans.#7 slowly pull back on both section evenly.Lay them on the floor ,no need to pull them completly (85 % ), workable space.#-8- just next to the rear fan, there is a plastic cover( remove it )there some wires going into it from the side.#9-there you will find a metal section, remove the first cover when looking down,( voila , there you go )that my friend is your colour wheel.#-10 be carefull replacing item..very frigile. #11-pull plug from wheel, exchange.( not resonsable, should you make an error.) Good luck " woleverine "

I have the same trouble, just took it apart." the color wheel " is defective." bearing trouble".I took it apart to service the part, little syntec grease, but accedently broke the color wheel.( note the wheel is glass & fragile .....beware ) No big deel ,i'll get a new one.-I dont even know if it would have worked. " Cat's out of the bag." Do make sure it"s not one of three fan motors."--Also for those of you who complain about this tv. " My bulb is 6 years old and works fine. "
