Bosch model 'WFF 2001' washing machine,11 years old & used daily, no problems until now! It did one load today and since then the drum has stopped turning/spinning. Otherwise water fills & empties alright.

Any ideas? Many thanks in advance

We've got the same problem with our Bosch (different model). Browsing on the internet I've come to the conclusion that it is probably the brushes that need replacing. The Bosch brushes I was looking at cost under £15 and I intend to attempt the replacement / repair myself.
