My ku990 screen is extremely bright all the time , it won`t hold it`s setti?

My KU990 screen is extremely bright , adjustment is impossible as it is not holding it`s new brightness setting .

what if you put it into power saving mode would that make it less bright? its been a long time since i used my viewty and i smashed the screen on it n repaired it now its a really strange colour lol but dont matter as i have upgraded. hope this helps you
