My double oven has a blank display . It started to off and on every couple of weeks ,for about 2months and Know its totaly blank.I checked the thermal fuse and its good .

We have the same problem with ours, installed 3.2007. We called Whirlpool - they said they could ship a new panel ($175 and NOT returnable if it turns out to be a repairable problem). Had two service guys; the first said call Sears because they have the diagnostic tools. Sears guy said it needs to be replaced.

I have the same model with the exact same issue (no display, only light working)....I open up and the display have a burnt mark by the small light attached to the top left corner of the display.....and if I want to replace the control board the wiring to this thing is a mess.....If anyone have a solution to this, please let me know.

I have the same issue. I called up the Whirlpool service center. Looks like this will be ~$350 repair (replace control and control panel). I'm not buying Whirlpool again.

This is exactly what happened to my oven too.
My oven was bought and installed October 2005.
It too is a Whirlpool GBD307.
Manufacturer defect?
I'm looking for help and would appreciate anyone's technical advice. I called Whirlpool and said it only came with one year warranty.

I thought I was buying quality, but turns out to be far less than expected.
