how can i purchase a cog fo the fellowes P-57Cs?

I have a fellowes P-57Cs shredder and have noticed when i took it apart that a plastic white cog has shattered. Any suggestions on replacement?

I downloaded Freecad and was able to create a file to 3 D print a new gear for a Fellowes PS-12. Took the file to my local library and for $3.71 (0.25 per gram) the new gear was printed.

Measure carefully the diameter of the gears and diameter of the gear shaft hole (in millimeters) and pay particular attention to measuring the angle of the teeth on the helical gear (called a beta angle on Freecad).

you cannot get it from the manufacturer, they don't have spare parts....at least that is what they have told me. You will have to buy a used unit that has other issues, but the gears are still good.
It's about economics when it comes to manufacturing, it's cheaper for you to buy a new one than to have it sent out and repaired.
