how do i fix it hoover ac90 wm

I have just had a similar problem with a hoover as 110.
The problem was that the lower concrete weight had worked it's way loose. (Probably initially caused by the machine being on a very slightly uneven floor)
If it is this, check that the posts that the weight is bolted to, are not damaged.
You may need a new weight. Mine cost around £20 from Hoover.
